To load an iPod
You must add folders from your internal or better yet external hd to library
Use control a to select multiple shows
Then Sync

Genres;
control a or shift a to highlight all the files you want( an entire album/ artist etc).
Right click while highlighted.
Choose Get info
....this way you can work with many files at once.

1. Create a PLAYLIST first- name it GD 77-02-26 for example.
2. Download the files.
3. Drag them into the Playlist. You may need to arrange them in the right order.
4. Repeat for the rest of the shows you download.

The PLAYLIST function of iTunes is perfect for organizing shows. Then, get an Alpine head unit and you can hook up your iPod directly to it and control everything right on the head unit. And your Playlist names show up perfectly on the display because you have named them as shown above. They are all in chronological order. Easy as wind!!!
